home. Sarah has faithfully supported Reynard through the separation from his mother and his unstoppable rise as a barrister. Against her own wishes, Sarah aborted Reynard’s child some years ago, as Reynard wasn’t ready for a family. But time has crept on and Sarah, whilst prospering as a journalist, is ready to settle down with the man she loves. She wants to start a family. Despite Sarah’s loyalty, Reynard can’t help betraying her in the bedroom.
Is he searching for something that Sarah can't give him or does he just like living on the edge? His wit and charm make him a seduction passed-master, but his methods of philandering have become increasingly dangerous, threatening exposure at any time.
Hunter has been acquitted after some

champagne advocacy from Reynard. Hunter is ready to step back into his criminal underworld but suspects that Michelle has been cheating on him with Mike Healy, a local snooker club owner. Michelle strenuously denies any involvement with Healy, but not before Hunter has taught her a lesson with his fists. This brutal exchange is overheard by Mrs Docherty, Michelle’s next-door-neighbour. Having assured Hunter of her innocence she placates him the only way she knows how - sexually.
Encouraged by Michelle’s advances, Reynard pays Michelle a visit soon after Hunter has left her flat. Already in the mood, Michelle asks to be tied up. Reynard, hungry for extremes, obliges. Their heated tryst turns sour and Michelle winds up dead. Reynard panics and flees.
Well known to the police by now, Hunter is picked up for Michelle’s murder by DC Price and DCI Crawley. Mrs Docherty can place him at the scene and his DNA is everywhere. |
