On every level Reynard’s universe is crumbling around him. The police become suspicious of his handling of the case and begin to dig deeper. Reynard’s Teflon-coated confidence is being replaced by a hunted paranoia and a desperation to get his life back on track. As Sarah is reporting on the trial for her newspaper, she can’t avoid contact with Reynard. Will Sarah give Reynard another chance and if so what are her motives for doing so?
Can Reynard manipulate the court into convicting the wrong man or will Hunter find out the truth and alter the course of his own fate? Will Sarah seek revenge for Reynard’s catalogue of betrayal - is the woman scorned after retribution?
